Full and double mean the identical matter. As far as the queen headboard is concerned, you want to make sure there is no attachment issue. Many times with headboards, there are predrilled holes designed to attached to rails or the frame of the bed itself, which will hold up the double bedding headboard in a vertical position. If there are no attachment parts specific to the queen-sized bed (like rails, or a specific midpoint), yes, you can use the double bedding headboard. It”s going to be about 3″ too big on each side, but with the fact that our mattresses these days are overstuffed and that comforters extend past the edge of the bed, I think it will look quite nice.
No difference between double and full size in the U.S. Queen size is a small bigger than double, but the double bedding headboard might work.
Both are the same.
Full/double
Overall dimensions: 54″ wide x 75″ long
Width per person: 27″
Queen
Overall dimensions:60″ wide x 80″ long
Width per person: 30″
Double beds and full-size beds are the same, as far as I know. And yes, a full/queen headboard would fit your double bed.
They are the identical matter. The headboard will fit.
