bedding for a small double bed?

double bedding

my room at uni next year has a small double bed (4″ instead of 4″6), but i could really do with covering up the horrible orange divan base, i dont really want to be buying special valances from specialist bed places. does anyone know if a king size duvet would drape over the sides enough to cover the divan base? any other tips would be great! i was also considering a normal sized double bedding
pread but thought that it would b likely to drape on the floor. thanks!

But a big mattress pad and it will help with the bedding bedding sheets fitting more normal (my on-campus apartment last year was the same way)
They are a small expensive but they work really really well.
Also, just go to overstock.com and find a comforter…they are all really great prices. You might not need a king. I had a queen and it was really big :P

A 4 foot bed is called a three-quarter bed and they”ve been around for years. You can buy bedding especially for it, just type in “4 foot bedding” on the internet and it”ll give you loads of shops. Alternatively, measure from floor to floor, across the base, to give you the size of fabric you want, then look at the sizes of standard bedding and buy something to use as a valance sheet. A fitted platform valance would look better though, and they start at around £10, so it won”t break the bank.
