Electric blanket for double bed?
I have double bedding, my boyfriend wants an electric blanket but I really don”t. Can you get electric blankets made to fit a double bed but only heats one side?
Will a single go on a double or are they like fitted bedding sheets

Just get a single electric blanket and put it on one side of the bed.
They are not fitted, they simply lay on the bed and tie around ithe mattress (You may need to buy some longer string to fit around the double mattress).
Yes i think argos do them. I love my electic blanket it is great – why not try it !
get a duel control blanket-theres a control for either side of the bed so if u dont want to use it just leave it off and he can heat his side of the bed.
You can get electric blankets for single, double, queen size, not too sure about king size. The go over your top sheet just like a regular blanket. The cords connect at the double bedding bottom of the blanket and with some you can get dual controls which have a long enough cord to go from the double bedding bottom of the blanket to the side of your bed.
You can either get a single size for his side alone which would be cheaper or get a double size with dual control and you don”t turn your side on.
No, they are not fitted, and yes, you can get a single. But you can also get a double with dual control and keep your side turned off. There’s another solution, too. Heated matress pad. Instead of heat over you, it’s heat under you. Much more efficient and comfortable. Also comes dual controlled.
